YA Authors Team Up to Offer New Contest for Teen Writers

Fifteen debut YA authors (Freshmen Fifteens) are teaming up on Wattpad to offer a new contest for young authors between the ages of 13-19.  The Freshman Fifteen Common Room Mentoring Contest is open to submission from now through July 25. The winners will have the opportunity to be mentored by a 2015 debut author. How cool is that? 

Winners will be chosen based on their query pitch - a 200 words (or less) description of the story you want to work on with your mentor. Well, you'll be writing the story and your mentor will give you feedback. It's a great way to get a bird's eye view of the publishing industry.
