Only a few more days before many writers start burning the midnight oil in hopes of knocking out 50k words in 30 days during the month of November. It's NaNoWriMo! That's National Novel Writing Month for the unintiated. I've signed up for it in year's past but unfortunately, procrastination always got the better of me and um, those 50k words never materialized. I'm throwing my hat back in the ring and this time I'm getting extra fortification. I signed up for Kristi Holl's NaNoWriMo accountability group. It's a series of daily emails checking up on our progress. It's for children's writers so your word count can be lower (I'm aiming for upper middle grade @ 36k words). The only way I'm going to get this done is to do an outline. I created some great templates in Scrivener that should do the trick. Are you up for the challenge?
