A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in print journalism, Nash has written hundreds of articles for a variety of publications and websites, including Vibe, Essence, The Chicago Tribune and Launch.com. Her topics include subjects ranging from entertainment, to parenting issues, to topical matters.
As an entertainment writer, Nash has interviewed celebrities such as Academy Award-winning actors Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe; Academy Award nominee Will Smith; comedians/actors Dave Chappelle, Jamie Foxx and Kim Coles; and actress Constance Marie.
James currently writes for the Los Angeles Sentinel, Unleashed magazine, The EUR and New York’s Newsday, among many other publications. He is in high demand for lectures and discussions based on his latest book on relationships, and his knowledge of rap music, the history of rioting in America, race relations, and issues facing Black America.
A former editor-in-chief for the Los Angeles Sentinel and Our Weekly community newspapers, Williamson is an award-winning, veteran journalist and publisher of L.A. Stylin', an on-line entertainment and lifestyles e-magazine. The proud single parent of an adult daughter, Williamson is known widely for her active participation in all issues that impact residents of the Greater Los Angeles community.
